Current OE Site Status

as of 04-20-18

Kia J2534 software has a new version. Please discontinue use of the old app and download the new one. Also, please clear your browser cache before you do any transactions with the KIA site. We have already had reports of connection issues for VSPs that were resolved by clearing cache and saved passwords for the site. The old J2534 app had a problem where a missing instruction was causing technicians to believe they had damaged the module. It could be recovered by by KIA GDS but not the J2534 app. This has been repaired and messaging updated. Thank you to KIA for a quick resolution and to Christian Brothers for bringing it to our attention.

Please see MB USA note at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for alerting us when you run into problems. Please help the entire NASTF community by letting us know where trouble exists:

NASTF Road Show and Member Drive

ASA Northwest ATE 2018 - Seattle, WA

The NASTF Road Show Continues. I have to thank ASA Northwest for inviting me to speak on a panel about the future of repair shops capably moderated by Carm Capriotto. Yes, he recorded it. You would like to listen with his Remarkable Results APP. I was honored to share the stage with NASTF board member Scott Brown and Parts and People's Jerry Smith one of the founders of the ATE event. Almost 700 registered attendees and another sell out  for one of the best volunteer teams in the industry.

Once again, we had help in the booth from a professional brand ambassador. In Overland Park earlier in the month Rose helped us to gain 134 new members. Kassi Moon, Seattle girl and one of Rose's friends - no competition between these two at all :) managed to sign up 85 new members and we got a lesson or two in South Korean Culture. This brings our first quarter new member count to 1024 marking 2 months of record breaking new membership.  Thanks Rose, Kassi, Vision and ATE!

Kassi and Donny stop for a quick photo at ATE

Join us at the following upcoming events:

If you plan on attending any of these events please consider stopping by and visiting. If you are not a member already we will sign you up right in the booth for FREE. Keep in touch with what is happening by joining NASTF Today! Psst!, the button is over to the left and up a little.

MB USA Xentry Ordering Update

NASTF has learned that requests for Mercedes Xentry are overloading their ability to keep up with demand. The Xentry is configured in Germany by way of New Jersey at this time so MB USA recommends that shops needing the Xentry plan ahead. In some cases it can take as long as 3 months to fill an order. MB USA is in the process of merging their New Jersey and Florida offices and hopes to find some ways to streamline the process. In the meantime they have asked us to convey their appreciation for your patience.
