Cybersecurity and the Future of Auto Repair examined the complexities of vehicle electronics to identify cyber hacking vulnerabilities of concern to OEMs and to repair shops. No video or audio recording is available but key points of the session are captured in a written summary (click here) contributed by attendee Bob Augustine of Christian Brothers Automotive.

Greg Potter (Executive Manager of the Equipment & Tool Institute, pictured far right) was moderator of the second feature session in NASTF's Fall 2015 General Meeting, SAE J2534 Version 5.0. Jill Saunders (Toyota, near left), Kurt Immekus (VW) and Bernie Carr (Bosch) examined the opportunities and obstacles facing OEMs and tool makers as vehicle interface devices transition from the limited design for emission service to the bumper-to-bumper realm of full diagnostics and programming. No video or audio recording is available but key points of the session are captured in a story by industry writer, Bob Chabot (ManicMedia) to appear in a future edition of Motor Magazine.
