Description of Repair unable to perform
I cannot find a flow chart or any information for diagnosis of a C1189 in a 2004 Mustang Cobra. Basically we are trying to find a specification for vref to confirm a faulty GEM in this vehicle. Extensive time searching the website including following recommended locations found in the powertrain control section of teh website.

I clicked on the contact us link and received a response from them stating: Good Morning Donny~ Please refer to the vehicle hotline for the answer to your question. Please call 1-800-826-4694 and refer to the vehicle hotline. Thanks! The person I spoke with said that he is unable to help with information that is missing. He said that my supporting dealer would have to submit a request to the programmers. The only reason for the complaint is that this is the 3rd time I have found that even when you pay for access which is currently provided by the dealer I buy my Ford parts from, the support people will not support an independent shop with information and generally the person who answers the call for the Vehicle Hotline is in no way capable of supporting anything but computer access. Per our phone conversation, I understand that you were able to locate the information you were seeking. The fact that you are using a special dealer-sponsored program and website and not our aftermarket site at caused the issue in obtaining support that you experienced. We apologize for this and have updated our process to better distinguish the two distinct programs and websites and handle them appropriately.
