Description of Repair unable to perform
We are replacing the brake caliper and are unable to find the proper torque spec for the M14 (6 bolt), caliper-to-torque plate bolts. This is on the Meritor Four-Piston Qualdraulic Brake Caliper.
Description of Information not available
Meritor's manual MM-2075 states to refer to the vehicle's manufacturer for the M14 (6 bolt), caliper-to-torque plate bolts torque spec.
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
I contacted Navistar at 1-800-365-0088 and psc@navistar.com to find the proper information. I searched the site to find a way to purchase access to the vehicle's workshop manual/service manual. Some of the people I talked to at 1-800-365-0088 said that we would have to purchase the OnCommand Subscription but we would have to be a dealer. It was not readily accessible.

The SIR system has been broken. Sorry for the delay. It may still not be sending messages. I will look into this one.

NASTF was able to make connections to acquire the information Mr Sterwerf required. Navistar and Meritor have a document update in process that will be updated soon. The current position of Navistar is that the technician should use a torque chart for the size of the bolt to determine proper torque.
