Description of Repair unable to perform
Purchased NERS 6 months ago, have tried to program 5 TCM's that came from Nissan dealer blank. Have failed on all and had to tow vehicle to dealer. Have tried to call tech support, but they never answer. Have emailed tech support and get vague answers stating I am downloading the wrong files, when I ask where to find the correct files, I never get an answer as to where they found them.
Description of Information not available
Cannot find the correct programming files on the Nissan website. Have searched all the TSB's and have downloaded the files outlined in the TSB's but they don't work and support tells me they are the incorrect files.
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
I have downloaded and reread the NERS tutorial at least a dozen times. Followed the tutorial step by step. Sent emails to support and received answers stating I am downloading the wrong file. When I ask how they found the right file, I don't get an answer.
Other Comments or Concerns
The latest TCM I tried to program came from a nissan dealer, it included a CD that had the files to flash the TCM, but could only be used with consult. When I emailed support, they stated this below We do not distribute ECU Reprogram Data for a reman transmission. I am not sure where you were told to purchase 31020-3V60D ECU Data for this part. This ECU data purchased is not for a 2013 Altima. Your part number for the reman trans does correctly match the VIN provided, but we do not offer reprogram data for 3102M-3VX0ARE. Here is what I found after doing some digging: Your VIN needs TCM part number 31036-3TA4B and there is reprogram data for this part number (31036-3TA4B to 31036-3TY1E) see attached screenshot. When I asked where he found this data, I never received an answer. The website is also stating that with the newer version of NERS, you have to log in, and then it will update the module. When I asked if I had to repurchase the software, he stated this... I have also looked at your account and your subscriptions are active and ready to download purchases. NERS version is not preventing this however and updating to NERS 04.00.01 will not resolve this error.

This week Nissan reported that they are expecting to be able to perform these kinds of functions over J2534 sometime this summer. They have compiled a database and are working on the delivery system.
