Description of Repair unable to perform
Hi. I cant get J2534 access thro Mercedes. I have completed all paperwork. Faxed and mailed payment. Its bee draging for more then 2 weeks now and acording to Fed Ex Mercedes had received all payperwork including payment last Monday.

There have been no responce to contact onder Support tab on their website. There were no returned calls even though i habe talked to MB Workshop Department. Clearly they not following Right To Repair act. Their process time is rediculous.

This SIR is related to SIR #790. MBUSA has been contacted to determine the time-frame expectation to receive J2534 pass though software. More information will be posted as NASTF learns more information.

NASTF is still trying to get a clear answer. Some additional information: MBUSA has recently released their new J2534 software is called "XENTRY Pass Thru". It is available as a Blue Ray disc. *It requires a license and a yearly subscription fee. *It requires a J device/box and PC (just like before). *The software will be delivered every other month for the duration of the subscription (one year). *Requires a license agreement, order form, payment (just like before). All forms available at www.startekinfo.com. Go to left side bar, under MB Workshop Resources > choose Pass Thru Software. * There is no time frame on how long it will take to receive it.

The J2534 disc activation did occur after some months. The activation requires an additional completed application (Application of XENTRY FLash / V Max User ID) to be submitted along with a copy of the Users Photo ID before the license will be sent. Once the application is received, the activation is sent. MB, at this point, is currently issuing the J2534 disc, once the disc is received, the application can be filed with MB and the license/activation is emailed to the user.
