Category of Request: Reprogramming Manufacturer: 2007 FORD F150/MARK LT

Have you checked the OEM website?
Description of Repair unable to perform
No As-Built data is available for this vehicle. After numerous requests the manufacturer has refused to supply it. In particular, when installing a new ABS module, the user is instructed to enter the As-Built data manually while performing Programmable Module Installation (PMI). The "automatic" method of programming the module (as suggested by technical support) does not work. Since the installing technician MUST enter the As-Built data manually, and that information is not available, it is impossible to perform tasks required when replacing modules on this vehicle.
Description of Information not available
As-Built Data (for module programming, necessary when a module is replaced).
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
I requested the data through the link identified as "Click here if module data required is not available below", requested the missing data yet never received it. After inquiring as to what it was and to where the "Answer" was sent on 1/23/2017 at 12:13:04 PM, I received no response. I unsuccessfully attempted to get the As-Built data through and through The dealership from where the ABS Module was purchased could not get the As-Built data either. NUMEROUS e-mails from Packer Norris Parts, a Ford Parts distributor were obviously unread based on the replies from Ford Technical Support members that responded to his many requests for help. The technical assistance request was eventually "elevated" and responded to with the reply stating "Ford Technical Assistance Center cannot provide assistance in this situation". A Ford FACT instructor contacted his Field Representative, who also looked into the issue and could not get an answer.
Other Comments or Concerns
January 23, 2016 I began the process of programming a new, replacement ABS Module in this US Forestry vehicle. The Forestry Service personnel are prohibited (for obvious liability reasons) from driving a Forestry vehicle with any known safety-related faults, such as when the ABS indicator is illuminated. The replacement module MUST be programmed when being installed in this vehicle. The latest version (and previous versions) of Ford IDS software informs the user that "As-Built data must be manually entered" to properly configure the module to the vehicle. It is because As-Built data has not been published for any module on this vehicle, that an installing technician cannot properly perform the configuration of any module to this vehicle. Feb. 14, 2017 and the US Forestry Service still cannot drive their vehicle. It is ABSURD that a fifteen-minute job otherwise is still unfinished because there is no As-Built data for this vehicle!

Ford looked into the situation and was able to add the "AS built" information to the website to correct the clients concern. The client was able to program the vehicle.
