Description of Information not available
There is absolutely no information available, on NY j2534 issues, from Chrysler. Not on Techauthority, or Techauthority customer service is absolutely; non-existent. They are rude, & obnoxious.
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
Numerous calls, to Techauthority (800-890-4038), they are rude, & obnoxious; & simply hang up on you. They are supposed to have a supervisor call you back. We have been waiting; since Friday. Several calls to Drewtech, left several messages (734.222.5228 (option 3)). They do not answer the phone. They called us back, this morning; told us, there was nothing they could do. Their tech support; recommended we pull it to a dealership, & have them fix it. Called Snapon (800 424-7226). They do not know anything. They tell you to call Drewtech; the same Drewtech, that will not answer the phone.
Other Comments or Concerns
This is outrageous. We pay Drewtech, they can't help. We pay Snapon, they can't help. We pay Techauthority, they can't help. We have an irate customer, on our hands.

There is some FCA J2534 information that will help, including how to get support. A PDF of the J2534 manual can be downloaded at Section 4.0 (page 21) outlines the process for support for independents. Support must be done through email. - Please note: In most cases, OEMs (including FCA) do not provide tech support to independents unless it is for tools they have validated. FCA lists 4 validated J-devices (listed on page 4 of J2534 manual). The Snap-on device is not one they have validated, so support may be limited.

FCA did lend support to the client. The problem was caused by a recently updated laptop that the necessary drivers did not install correctly. The FCA support team was able to successfully install the program and drivers on a different laptop and the 2007 Jeep was successfully re-flashed.
