Daimler Trucks has been contacted. NASTF is waiting for a reply.

The issues have been resolved. Daimler worked with the client to supply him with the links for the information/access he needed. The DiagnosticLink website, https://diagnosticlink.nexiq.com/DTNA/Default.aspx, is where the independents would register for an ID as an independent repair facility and download the necessary software. Concerning the diagnostics and software, there were two issues to address. When working on newer product, there was an update needed for the DiagnosticLink software. Also, because the client was working on a DDEC V engine, in this specific case they advised him to use the legacy tool DDDL which is included in the purchase of DiagnosticLink.
