Description of Repair unable to perform
I purchased a new keyless n go fob off of mopar for this customers vehicle. Went into mopars key code site and purchased the auth pin. On the confirmation page, it states that a free subscription to tech authority is provided with your purchase and your login and password credentials are the same as your lsid credentials. Tried to login to tech authority website with lsid and password would not work. I also have a vci j2534 pass thru device. tried to login with chryslers j2534 software lsid and password did not work. I then purchased a subscription out of my own name and was able to login. the j2534 flash software recognized the vehicle and everything. clicked on routine, then clicked on program fobik. It asked for the 4 digit pin code. I input this information and hit continue and all it kept saying was web server error over and over again. I called Techauthority support, no help whatsoever. I emailed witech support and they gave me a link for the software user manual. I read the manual front and back and there is no mention of web server error. It mentions j2534 server error, but not webserver error. I may have lost my biggest commercial account because of this error and lack of support from chrysler. Extremely disappointed. I also took the same car to a dealer where they programmed it in 5 minutes.
