Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
Initial contact was made through the contact us on the website. I was informed they only handle website issues. Second Contact was made to Ted Komuves at JLR North America Diagnostic Support. He initially requested the session file for the vehicle after accessing the VID block. Then he told me he was unable to help any further.
Other Comments or Concerns
This appears to be an issue with the software not performing it's intended function on this vehicle.

JLA believes the vehicle has a corrupt VID block which is used to determine the build and configuration of the vehicle during programming. JLR does offer service repair information that is published in TOPIx, but JLR does not provide technical support to independent service providers. Because the complexity of this particular issue, JLR feels the only way forward would be for the vehicle to be taken to an authorized retailer that could then involve their technical service teams to investigate the concern.
