Description of Repair unable to perform
Can not obtain key adaption due to inability to log into keys-vw or keys-audi website with valid LSID and passcode.
Description of Information not available
Reason for "invalid log-in" message at vw and audi key adaption website with a valid lsid and passcode.
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
Under the security professional key program tab on the VW Erwin site are the instructions for obtaining a key adaption. In the independent key code instructions, step 4 it states to go to in order to obtain a key or key adaption. On the keys-vw homepage is the log in screen to input my lsid and passcode. I am entering my current and correct log in credentials, but receive and "invalid log in" message. I contacted their customer support at (866) 327-1904 and was told there is nothing on their end they can do to investigate that error and I would need to contact NASTF to determine the problem. I was told that as long as the credentials are valid, it should log in. No further assistance was available. Verified my lsid and passcode are correct by logging into Toyota tis website and entering lsid and passcode credentials. There is no trouble with my lsid or passcode on other OEM websites.
