Description of Repair unable to perform
Unable to gain security access to remove ignition keys programmed into the PCM, to be able to learn new keys.
Description of Information not available
Information states that to enter security access on the PATS control function module, in this case the PCM. The tools available are not able to gain security access because the PCM is in a coded access mode, but according to the information it is supposed to be in a timed access mode.
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
The PCM has the latest calibration. Several other similar vehicles were checked. The same coded security access problem was found with a few other vehicles with manual transmissions, though a few automatic transmission vehicles were in timed access mode. The same problem was also found on other vehicles with the same latest calibration and PCM hardware. It appears that the security access type may be part of the PCM calibration. The same results were obtained with a Ford VCM/IDS system as with a J2534/FMP system.
Other Comments or Concerns
The information available on the website under 'keycode lookup', including the 'SecuriLock Job Aide' charts does not indicate that this should be a problem for these vehicles or indicate that locksmith requirements need to be met to deal with the security issues. It also states that there is no electronic pin code required. Can the PCM be put in timed security access mode so that security access can be obtained as detailed in the procedures? Are there any tools currently available to address these security access issues?

OEM continues to work with SIR client on a solution to this issue but since this is not a "service information gap" issue between dealer and aftermarket availability this SIR has been closed.
UPDATE: Off-car service is a problem in programming. With this PCM outside the vehicle system, data instructions were inaccurate.
