NASTF notified Tesla asking them to assist the client in this matter. While NASTF has previously invited Tesla to participate in the Service Information Request (SIR) program, they do not currently participate. The EPA has not (yet?) placed regulations on Tesla that would require them to provide service information to you as is required on other manufacturers in the 1990 Clean Air Act. And the Massachusetts Right-to-Repair law will not apply to Tesla until they establish an authorized dealer. Except for a potential motive to provide a convenience to their Tesla retail customer, they have no requirement to assist independent clients.
