Description of Repair unable to perform
I needed to purchase the Calibration CD to address an update necessary to correct a P0420/P0430 code on a 2003 Highlander. I found a TSB telling me the necessary calibration and have the tools required to perform the update, however, Toyota has not made the file available.

John, Thank you for your inquiry regarding the vehicle recalibration event referenced below. As you may know, Toyota has a relatively short history of service recalibration. Currently, the process to obtain these calibration files in the aftermarket is a manual one. All service calibrations can be purchased on CDs through our Materials Distribution Center (MDC). The Vehicle Reprogramming CDs are updated on a regular basis as new reprogramming service events are introduced. Because of the manual nature of this process, there will be occasions where reprogramming service events are not added to the CD for several weeks after release. We realize that this is a gap in our system and we are already working on an automated support system that will provide access to these calibration files in real time. These systems are under development and anticipated to launch sometime next year. In the mean time, we make every effort to keep the CDs up to date, and in the event that a calibration file you need is not on the most current CD available through our MDC, you have the option to contact our TIS Customer Support line at 877.762.7666 to arrange to have the file e-mailed to you. Since you have already purchased the latest CD, I am attaching the calibration file(s) and supporting TSB for your convenience. The files are compacted using "winzip" and the file extension has been changed to get through firewall security. Please add the file extension ".zip" to the attached to unzip these files.
