Description of Repair unable to perform
Cannot purchase software from OEM even though we pay for annual subscription to access.

Comments: We are an Independent repair facility with a subscribtion to VIDA to service Volvo automobiles. Volvotechinfo is our window to purchase software to repair and service these cars. We have had a vehicle that we cannot download to to server issue that has been going on now for over three days. Meanwhile the dealers have no trouble. The following is a cut and paste from the VTI website homepage. I have had a help request in with them now and am getting little to no information about when this service we pay for will be working again. "The website is experiencing connection issues with VIDA and Software purchases. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. "

I have been in direct contact via volvotechinfo.
Other Comments or Concerns
I had to take the vehicle to a Volvo dealer for programming AND pay them to do what we could have done if their software purchasing system was functioning

OEM acknowledged with client that the payment processing gateway on their site was down April 15 through 19 creating this failure. A notice was posted on the OEM site but the extended length of the outage made access to service information impossible in this period.
