The Misubishi website directs you to SPX to purchase their scan tool. I ordered the entire scan tool kit #MB991824 on 10/20/05 for $3,586.56 from SPX. Everything was in the kit EXCEPT the Mitsubishi PC software to run the interface Scanner module. SPX told me that they do not supply the software but only the tool. There is nothing on the Mitsubishi website to purchase this software and a local dealer told me I could not purchase the software from them because they are supplied with the software directly from Mitsubishi. Now I own a $3500 tool that will do NOTHING. Please help me with this issue. John Anello, President Auto Tech On Wheels

John, In an effort to comply with established guidance for responses to concerns brought to NASTF, we put together the following recap of the conversation we had earlier today. You purchased the interface portion of our scan tool only -- not the entire kit -- hoping to run our software on your own PC We advised that our software was specifically designed to run stand-alone on our specified platform The software would have been provided had the entire kit been purchased You will evaluate purchasing an entire kit We appreciate the time you spent discussing this with us and your interest in Mitsubishi.
