Description of Repair unable to perform
Preforming a TCM reflash for needed updates. Upon completion the screen says "flash update successful!" and has correct calibration id number listed at top of the screen however when checking the vehicle it still shows old calibration id number

tried contacting Chrysler techincal support @ 1-800-890-4038 but was prompted to a web page http://kb.dcctools.com was told to click on knowledgebase and type my question in search no relevant info came up regarding my issue

Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
chryslers support page states that if the first attempt fails clear the file from the DCX2534 file in C drive, upload file again and retry the flash which I did with the same results. Says it was successful but doesn't show any updates in the TCM calibration ID

OEM has asked client for more detail in their effort to resolve this SIR. Additional info includes: 1. Provided VIN is an invalid VIN. Provide the correct VIN number; 2. Provide the ECU calibration file downloaded from Chrysler website; and 3. Provide the ECU / TCM part number in question. UPDATE 9/10/13: OEM has been working with client to replicate the error but OEM testing with the Chrysler application and the Blue Streak J2534 test does not produce the same error. Client notified NASTF that they are working with their tool vendor on a resolution. |
