Inquiry
Have you checked the OEM website?
Yes
Description of Repair unable to perform
Unable to find complete and accurate diagnostics for trouble code B2105.
Description of Information not available
Trouble code test procedure does not provide accurate information on code set criteria or testing procedure. Manufacturer has decided to rely on test light bulb brightness to determine if a circuit is operating correctly or not completely ignoring the fact that a test light will load this low amperage circuit and create false passes. Voltages should be provided for the circuit in question.
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
Contacted the Customer care line who reported they can't do anything or provide assistance for missing or inaccurate information.
Other Comments or Concerns
I find it incredible that in this day of sophisticated electrical circuit that a manufacturer does not provide information detailed enough to accurately diagnose a circuit containing parts costing thousands of dollars.

Client technician and Chrysler have engaged in a technical debate over the use of a test light vs the use of voltage specs in diagnosis of this trouble code. Since the published OEM procedure is the same for the aftermarket as it is for the dealer, NASTF had no further role to serve beyond initiating this conversation.

Client asked if more documents from Chrysler could be available like GM's SI bulletins. Chrysler explains that these are equivalent to Chrysler's TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) which are published and made available to the aftermarket on TechAuthority. In fact, everything Chrysler provides the dealers on TechCONNECT is provided to those buying subscriptions to TechAUTHORITY. Star cases, are dealer help desk ticket conversations, not verified and not published as repair documentation.
