Description of Repair unable to perform
Programming "As Built" Data after failed programming attempt. The software would not accept the "As Built" data directly from Ford.
Description of Information not available
There are no warnings about programming certain Ford vehicles. I have talked to two local shops and a dealer and there are software issues that need to be addressed.
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
I contacted FMP and they gave me some steps to follow. I had already tried the listed steps. When I asked for further help I was told that it needed to go to the dealer.
Other Comments or Concerns
I was lead to believe the problem was a failed part. After much coaxing the dealer along with tech support was able to program the needed modules. When the FMP software fails to perform we should be able to get some type of telephone support.

Ford provided client additional insight on the situation of this repair leading to a better understanding by the tech of the Ford reflash strategy. Additional information regarding programming support for failure situations has been requested from Ford.
