Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
the customer that owns this vehicle is not getting the intermittent problem that he has repaired by the dealer. so he has come to me for help. when running just basic test i've found several mode 6 fails which seems odd for a vehicle with only 6000 miles. i understand how mode 6 works, and realize that a 'fail' on these tests doesn't mean that the components are actually bad. i just need to know where to find the 'definitions' of these tests just as a starting point, or clues to where to go next. when i checked the website at techauthority.com it was only updated to 2003-2004 for mode 6 info. according to what i see on the data from the tests run on this vehicle, the 2005 data is completely different. when i hit the 'contact us' icon on the website, the doesn't do anything. i understand that this info isn't normally necessary in the aftermarket, but since the release of this info is unavoidable in the near future, i would like a preview if at all possible. thank you jeff bly tech, maywood trans. 816-252-3559

We checked our TechAuthority website this morning and the Mode $6 information on the 2005 Dakota (mode$6 - CAN 05) is posted under the OBD II tab in the upper right of the screen. It's second from the bottom in the listing. Unless we heard from you, We'll assume that this NASTF Feedback/Request is closed to your satisfaction. Again, thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. DaimlerChrysler Corporation.
