Nissan tech support not available at 800-345-2233 where I was referred last time I had a problem with the Consult3+ tool. Referred to 800.662.3497 for suspected software issue but volumn of calls error ended my calls for several hours. When connected, I was prompted for a security code (not likely my NASTF VSP LSID #). Must it be this difficult to get support on a $12,000 factory tool?

Factory tool, subscription, two 800 support lines.

Nissan responded to client with information about support of the Consult tool from Bosch. However, they noted that vehicle-specific support is not available to the aftermarket by the tool mfgr but rather through technical services like Identifix.

NASTF provided step by step instructions for obtaining key codes and immobilizer reset codes from the Nissan website noting that the front page graphics had changed but after clicking on “Key Code/Immobilizer” everything else is the same. NASTF also forwarded the SIR to Nissan for technical support on your Consult3+ diagnostic tool.
