Can not find any information at the Subaru/SPX tool web site on any scan tool later than Selector Monitor II and MY2004 cartridge.

Subaru’s new diagnostic scan tool, the Subaru Select Monitor III (SSMIII) has not been made available to our dealer body at this point in time and therefore, Kent-Moore has not posted price or availability on their web site for Subaru Special Tools. We will be asking Kent-Moore to post general descriptive information about the tool on the site in the future prior to official price and availability. Once our dealers have received the tool, we will have price and availability information posted immediately. The generic version of this tool will also be available at that time through Blue Streak Electronics. We will instruct Kent-Moore to update their Special Tool web site promptly with the 2005 and 2006 MY cartridge information for use with the Select Monitor II. As an alternative to Kent-Moore’s web site, information on all Select Monitor II cartridges is also available by calling Kent-Moore at 1-866-213-4690 as indicated on our STIS web site in the FAQ section. When you revisit the Kent-Moore Special Tool web site, please note that the URL you provided is not current, the URL for this site is Regarding the Subaru Diagnostic System, this system will not be available for sale outside of our dealer network as its sole purpose is to provide our dealers with a rugged computer notebook to use with the SSMIII tool, as well as the installation of a wireless network to allow for quick and easy access to internal communication methods, service information (STIS web site) and updating of the SSMIII software.
