We are looking to read the CAN BUSS status of mostly braking and acceleration data if possible for data logging. Is there information available to connect to the car via the diagnostic plug or the computer on any vehicle. Either an industry standard protocol / pin out for the connector. Etc.
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
Didn't see anything on your site regarding reading the CAN Buss data on the vehicle computer.

This SIR is not gap-related so has been classified as invalid. Client was referred to Charlie Gorman for further info if needed. Requested data may or may not be available through the j1962 connector and varies from manufacturer to manufacture and even from model to model within the same manufacturer. The OEMs do not keep track of this particular piece of information in nice neat tables. The data may be buried in much larger files and tables, but no OEM data mines this specific info. There are those that may know the answers, but they have spent countless hours of research finding them and are not inclined to share. Lastly, OEMs do not want us accessing the vehicle network through any other means than the diagnostic connector.
