Several email communications between Chrysler and client occured on July 22-23 to learn more of the details surrounding this issue. The apparent problem was that the flash application was never installed on the new PCM. A Chrysler engineer telephoned the wife and the shop owner (who could speak better English) to instruct client on the file download procedure. Client has not replied to confirm that the repair is complete but the engineer believes it was completed successfully.
