We had the information but were informed we could not buy the part from Honda

Contacted out local Honda parts several times verifying they would not sell us the part . Said it was strait from Honda USA that they could not sell us the Battery Module

I find it hard to believe that they can with hold a part from the after market . I understand the risk with the part we are talking about and would understand if there were a waver to sign but they are monopolizing these repairs or trying too .

Honda spoke to Charlie on the phone. Charlie called a second Honda dealer and discovered he was provided incorrect information by the first dealer. Honda followed up the phone call with an email: I'm glad the issue was resolved before I even had a chance to call. I'm glad the second dealer you called was able to help you out. Once again, we're sorry the first Honda dealer provided you with some bad information. As you found out, the ordering of the Battery Module requires some details such as VIN and an explanation of the problem.
