Mary Hutchinson - 12/6/2010
From Nissan personnel to Mr. Layton on December 6:
I received the attached inquiry from the NASTF and I thank you for using the NASTF SIR system.
It is unfortunate that you are having difficulty reprogramming Nissan ECUs, and I understand the vehicle you had difficulty with has successfully been reprogrammed with the assistance of Joe Hendrich. In addition to assisting you, Joe has been field testing a new version of Nissan’s J2534-1 software. Today, December 6, I approved Joe to provide you a no-charge, sample of the software. This new software is also available at Nissan-techinfo.com.
Based on the vehicle being repaired and new software being available, I will consider this SIR closed unless I hear otherwise from you.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
