Description of Repair unable to perform
2002 Explorer Frame replacement kit. I need the frame sectioning procedures for the front right frame horn. Ford sells the front frame convoluted area replacement kit (part #1L2Z5D059EB) but I am unable to find the installation procedures on Ford's website. The only reference that I can find to this area is a notice that the convoluted area can not be repaired if damaged. It does not mention how to section in the new part.

Ford has investigated your complaint and our findings/resolution are summarized below. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention through the NASTF process. The instructions for frame rail replacement are not contained in a service publication. The instruction sheet is included in the service kit along with the service part. Individual parts instruction sheets are not distributed other than in the kits and are therefore not on Motorcraftservice.com. I understand the instruction sheet was faxed to you after receiving your request. For future inquiries, you can also use the 'Contact Us' help request function on the website for a fastest resolution. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
