Other Comments or Concerns
I went to the site yesterday at 4:30 and began the download/install process, following the instructions on the page as well as I can. Installed all the listed apps. After about 1.5 hours I had the system installed, and was looking at a page called Ista Installer. This ran for over an hour, then shutoff. I left it for the night. On this mornings restart, same page appears, then went to the main screen of Ista. After poking around there for a few minutes, an error box, "fault7/2 system fault " was displayed and requires shut down of application. I have seen this fault 4 times in less than 2 hours of use of this sites service, each requiring a complete restart of the application. More than an hour into it, I finally get a look at the information page that would have taken seconds to access via the former TIS or Alldata. "The operation is being processed please wait" is displayed for several seconds after every button press or screen change, including the "back" button or closing a viewed page. Up to 30 seconds for some functions.( I am on a T1 line) In using the P code lookup, "display fault code" leads to a blank screen, with "back, continue , or close buttons. No info is displayed. The speed of navigation is very poor . The requirement of the installation of so much software and including Antrares as a user on my PC is not reasonable by comparison with other mfgs technical websites.

Mr. Haven, I would also like to add that P-code information is currently available in two locations. The first is within the ISTA application. If the specific code you require is not available you can find the information by using our web-based P-code look up application found in the OBD Information section of the website. Thank you, BMW Support
