Chrysler personnel did the following to assist Mr. Browning with his issue: (1) Chrysler extended the subscription for TechAuthority until July 30, 2010. (2) The National Instrument Drivers (NI Drivers) which are essential to use TechTOOL, were reinstalled. Sometimes due to insufficient access, the NI Driver installation may not happen appropriately. This issue can vary depending on whether the user's PC is using Windows XP, 7 or Vista. In such a scenario, Chrysler advises the user to remove the NI Drivers and reinstall them. The NI Driver installation is also available on the TechAuthority Home Page which includes the complete information about the installation. Generally, TechTOOL installation goes well the first time but in case it doesn't, the user might require assistance.
