Contacted tech support at GIT america. I was told that for aftermarket customers there are no software updates available for aftermarket customers.
Other Comments or Concerns
When I purchased this tool in November, I was told this was the factory tooling for KIA. I was not told that I would only be able to diagnose certain KIA vehicles and that software updates would be sporadic if at all. Software updates must be made available or they must sell the actual factory scan tool. Also purchased Hyundai GDS at same time and software updates have not been a problem.

Response from Kia representatives: To follow up on the concern, Mr Del Rocco was contacted by our tool supplier. The information he received was incorrect and the supplier (by the way is an authorized Panasonic Toughbook repair center) assisted Mr Del Rocco by swapping out the hard drive and updating the software. Thanks.
