Received contact from Suzuki personnel that they have received this information request, and will contact Mr. Mueller on Monday, May 24.

Suzuki personnel respond as follows: Mary, regarding the specific information inquiry recently submitted to NASTF by Mr. Mike Mueller, I find our web site to operating as designed and the screen he indicated as operating improperly is in fact linked correctly and labeled accurately. The screen shows the link will provide “GM MODE 6 DATA” and it does in fact link to the correct GM site showing mode 6 data. Prior to the recent GM Bankruptcy changes the GM site included Suzuki vehicles which used the GM technology and I am now investigating when and why they are no longer visible on this link. If we are unable to restore the Suzuki models to the GM listing we will remove this link from our site however what he saw on screen is what he got thru the link (refer to the attached screen print.) I have advised Mr. Mueller that the mode 6 data for each Suzuki vehicle is currently available within each specific service manual and as a courtesy I offered to provide him the information for any specific vehicle he was working on. Mr. Mueller advised he had no specific need for Suzuki technical information at this time and he simply wanted to view our data on all models. I explained our policy regarding the license of data stream information for tool development and he advised me he had a “friend who developed diagnostic tools” and he wanted to purchase a subscription. After discussing this concept with our corporate legal department I was advised to send Mr. Mueller a non-disclosure agreement and ensure he fully understood the limitations of his proposed purchase of the Suzuki data stream information and then proceed to supply his needs if he completes both the non-disclosure agreement and the Suzuki data stream license agreement. As always Suzuki desires to support the NASTF and the needs of the after market shops and I am eager to assist in any manner possible. Please let me know if there is any additional information needed or if I can assist further. I will advise the NASTF organization if Mr. Mueller has any further requests on this specific matter however due to a lack of any specific actual information need I would request this NASTF information inquiry be considered closed as of this time.
