Why are Chrysler part numbers for the 1997 Sebring 2.0L DOHC Manual, OE 05293013AC or 05293013AD not released to the aftermarket? Same with 1997 Sebring 2.0L DOHC Automatic w/ 41TE Transmission, OE 05293014AC & 05293014AD?

DaimlerChrylser received this complaint on March 25, 2005. On April 1, 2005, DaimlerChrysler sent an e-mail stating that both part numbers supersede to remanufactured part numbers which is why there is no available flash since there never was a flash for these units. Part number 5293013AC goes to 5293013AD which goes to R5293013AD. This part number is only for a 1997 FJ 2.0L manual transmission. Part number 5293014AC goes to 5293014AD which goes to R5293014AD. This part number is only for a 1997 FJ 2.0L automatic transmission. Based on several telephone calls and e-mails, clarification was still needed from DaimlerChrylser on this issue. DaimlerChrysler made some minor non-emission related calibrations changes to these part numbers (i.e., controllers) where the proper service is to replace the faulty controller with a replacement controller rather than flashing it. No flashes were issued by DaimlerChrylser on these controllers. As a result, there are no flashes available to dealers and the aftermarket because none exist.
