DaimlerChrylser received this complaint on March 8, 2005. Telephone calls and messages were exchanged for about a week. On March 15 DaimlerChrysler learned that a newer version of Java was being used to download flash reprogramming files. DaimlerChrysler specifies Java version 1.3.1_15 on its website to download flash reprogramming files. When the correct version of JAVA was installed he was able to download flash reprogramming files. This subscription to the DaimlerChrylser service information Web site was from February 15, 2005 to March 18, 2005. On March 15, 2005, DaimlerChrysler extended the expiration date for this subscription from March 18, 2005 to April 1, 2005. DaimerChrysler is investigating ways to improve its "Contact Us" portion of website (e.g., ensuring that the message gets to the proper people and improving response time).
