Description of Repair unable to perform
Help with Ford module programming. Was working fine with FMP 58 until today. Started getting a message stating dealer code invalid. Checked the update list to see if it was the latest version. Someone forgot to update the list showing release dates because FMP 59 was released. I found that out when I decided to reload FMP 58 to see if it corrects the problem. Downloaded FMP 59 and it will not install on the same computer FMP58 was installed on..it crashes during configuration. FMP 58 was removed prior to installing the new version.

Ford personnel were in touch with Mr. Layton and provided assistance with his situation. The issue with the invalid dealer code was a global issue and had been resolved by the day after submission of this information request. Mr. Layton was also sent a file which would clear his PC of FMP completely, as the files from FMP 58 must be completely cleared from the computer prior to installing FMP 59. Sometimes there are issues with total deinstallation. This resolved Mr. Layton's issue.
