Description of Repair unable to perform
Assistance with Ford Module programminmg being able to access calibrations for Powerstroke trucks.
|Description of Information not available|
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
The resonse recieved did not even address the actual question but was basically a stall tactic. I asked about a specific calibration that was not able to be accessed by the Ford module programming. The reply back was what tool am I using, what software level, etc. This has ABSOLUTELY no bearing on why their program can't access the required calibration on their website!!

Dear Mr. Layton, Thank you for taking the time to discuss your issue with my coworker on the phone yesterday and explaining the issues you have with downloading some 6.0L diesel programming files from the Ford server. We are sorry for your inconvenience & frustration. We understand that only 6.0L files are an issue, and they have been an issue in the past. Previously we have worked with you to resolve the resulting vehicle programming concern, but you still are encountering file download issues. You & my colleague agreed this is not an application issue. You also agreed to call when you have another 6.0L vehicle that requires programming. One of us will take the opportunity to monitor the entire process, including the server connection, to try and determine what is preventing you from getting the file downloaded intact to your PC. We value you as a Motorcraft customer and thank you again for your feedback about our process. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
