Chrysler contacted Mr. Kyker on February 4, 2008. Mr. Kyker purchased a StarSCAN. The purchased price included a one-year free subscription for updates. Updates were made available on CDs. Chrysler changed from making updates available on CDs to making them available on-line on www.techauthority.com. During the transition, an issue developed where purchasers of StarSCANs could not obtain updates. Chrysler is investigating this issue to determine the appropriate corrective action. In the meantime, Chrysler provided Mr. Kyker with a free one-year subscription to www.techauthority beginning on February 4, 2008 so that he can obtain updates.
