Description of Repair unable to perform
I purchased a Star Scan from Miller Special Tools in July 07. I have not been able to update it beyond the 8.01 ver sent in Sept. by DVD. I was told future updates would be done online. I registered with Tech Connect when I recived the tool as instructed. I am able to log in on my pc and change password ect but when I log on with Star Scan I get an error message "Specified login credentials are incorrect". Miller Special tools is unable to help.What can I do?

Chrysler contacted Mr. Liddle on February 1, 2008. Mr. Liddle purchased a StarSCAN in July 2007. The purchased price included a one-year free subscription for updates. Updates were made available on CDs. Chrysler changed from making updates available on CDs to making them available on-line on www.techauthority.com. During the transition, an issue developed where purchasers of StarSCANs could not obtain updates. Chrysler was not aware of this issue until Mr. Liddle brought it to our attention. Chrysler is investigating this issue to determine the appropriate corrective action. In the meantime, Chrysler provided Mr. Liddle with a free one-year subscription to www.techauthority beginning on February 1, 2008 so that he can obtain updates.
