J2534 Programming.
Description of Information not available
Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
I went to the VW official site and clicked on pass thru programming as there was no link for J2534 programming. I had to pay $29.95 to get the phone number to call about programming (what a rip off!!! at Resolve Corp. They knew nothing about J2534 programming. They then gave me the number for bentley publishing who said I needed to talk to resolve corp. as that was their area and bently only handled manuals for VW. THe person at resolve corp said they had been with the company 25 years and had never heard of J2534 programming. I would like to know why I can't perform J2534 programming on the VW/audi makes and models as required by law!!

I recieved your feedback request this morning. The customer was complaining about the availability of J2534 programming. J2534 refers to the SAE specifications for this process. We refer to this on the web site as "Pass Thru reprogramming", the more common term. The customer can go to this menu selection for each model car and see what is available before having to purchase a subscription. There are detailed instructions on the process that mention J2534 in that same area of the web site. I have informed our web site administrator (Bentley publishers) and our fulfilment house (Resolve) of the J2534 term for future reference. I will respond to the customer. Thank you

This morning I spoke with Richard Layton at Mobile Diagnostics. I explained to him how to locate pass thru reprogramming information on the Ebahn web site. He mentioned to me that after he filed the feedback he found the information on his own. He was very appreciative of the phone call. As a follow up to the phone conversation I sent him an e-mail with the appropriate screen shots of the Ebahn Pass Thru Rprogramming steps.
