Description of Repair unable to perform
Could not log into website with IE6 or 7 (tried on 2 different computers.) Mozilla browser would log in, but would give me a blank screen instead of a wiring diagram.

Description of steps taken to obtain information (help/contact function on website, websites, etc.)
Entering e-mail and password continually kicked me back to the opening screen. I was using the user name and password that had just been e-mailed to me. Female answering the 800 number told me that they could not help, did not support anything to do with the website, were there only for Kia vehicle purchasers with warranty problems, and no, she could not tell me who to contact. She acknowledged that yes, that was the number that was listed on the website, but, never mind, I'm not here to help you.

Upon receipt of Mr. Fournier's concern from NASTF, Mr. Fournier was contacted by Kia. During the conversation, Kia was advised by Mr. Fournier that website access was working properly via the 2 computers that were previously unable to access the site using Internet Explorer. Mr. Fournier advised that there were concerns accessing wiring diagrams using a Mozilla-based browser; Kia advised regarding the requirements for site access and the location of these requirements. Kia offered some general troubleshooting recommendations should the login failure occur again, to include attempting login from a computer that is connected directly to the Internet and bypassing all internal routers, switches, etc. Regarding the call placed to Kia on 5-1-2007, Kia apologized to Mr. Fournier for any inconvenience; Kia is currently addressing this concern with the appropriate staff at the call center.
